COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus football team finished its 2025 season with a 31-13 win over Lebanon Valley in the 10
th annual Centennial-MAC Bowl Series game at Patterson Field on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Bears claimed their fourth Centennial-MAC Bowl Series win in program history and finish the season with a 7-4 record. Ursinus now has seven straight seasons with at least seven wins dating back to the 2017 season. Meanwhile, the Dutchmen will finish 2025 with a 6-5 record.

Jason Bernard claimed game MVP numbers behind a career-high 133 rushing yards on 23 carries with two touchdowns. Bernard powered a potent Bears rushing attack that finished with 243 yards as a team and he averaged 5.8 yards per carry. Senior
Jaden Louis rushed for 52 yards on seven carries with a touchdown and classmate
Andrew Kmett added the Bears final touchdown of the game.

Tristan Machado went 12-of-23 for 131 yards passing and junior wide receiver
Ryder Zulkowski led the Bears with 55 receiving yards on three catches. Senior
Cody House caught a game-high six passes for 49 yards in the win.
The Dutchmen opened the game with a balanced 10-play 65-yard drive that spanned nearly six full minutes and took the initial 3-0 lead with a 35-yard field goal at the 9:10-mark of the first quarter. The Bears punted on their opening possession and pinned Lebanon Valley at their own 6-yard line, but the Dutchmen cruised down the field in 10 plays to go up 10-0 at the 1:22-mark following a 32-yard touchdown pass.
Ursinus responded by making quick work of its next drive and cut the deficit down to 10-7 at the 13:54-mark of the second quarter. Bernard powered the Bears down the field by carrying the ball five of the six plays for 46 yards and finished the drive with a 1-yard plunge. The Dutchmen aggressively went for it on fourth-and-1 from its own 33-yard line and were stopped after senior defensive end
Aaron Rios wrapped up the quarterback draw play for a loss. The Bears took advantage of the short field and tied the game at 10 with a 25-yard field goal from senior
Jordan Carr with 9:28 left in the second quarter. Ursinus forced another turnover downs on the next Dutchmen drive and took off 6:15 and went up 17-10 following a 2-yard touchdown run from Bernard with just 18 seconds left in the first half.
Lebanon Valley turned the Bears over on downs to open the second half and cut the deficit down to 17-13 following a 34-yard field goal at the 6:16-mark of the third quarter. The Bears held their 17-13 lead into the fourth quarter before finally breaking through late when Louis scored on a 7-yard run to make it 24-13 with 3:37 left in regulation. Sophomore safety
Nick Strusowski intercepted Dutchmen quarterback Logan Klitsch on the second play of the next drive and returned it to the 3-yard line. Kmett punched through for the final touchdown of the game with 1:57 left in regulation and Strusowski added another interception.

Jake Ziegler led the Bears with 10 tackles (five solo) and senior
D.J. Clarke tallied nine tackles (six solo) with two pass break-ups. Strusowski added seven tackles with his two interceptions (four solo) with a tackle for loss.
