Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Ursinus Women's Volleyball team closed out its 2025 season with a 3-1 (25-20, 18-25, 25-22, 25-16) win over McDaniel in Centennial Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears finish their season 9-15 overall and 3-7 in Centennial Conference action while the Green Terror finish 9-16 overall and 1-9 in conference play.

Mel Eglinton wrapped up her Bears career with a second straight kill-dig double-double of a match high 13 kills plus 11 digs with three blocks plus two aces. Senior
Maci Dobbins-Timochenko set a career-high of 10 kills in her final match with five digs and classmate
Erin Dychdala totaled 26 assists, five digs, two aces, in two kills in her final match. Junior
Alexa Mazzeo added 10 digs plus two assists as well.
Ursinus won the first four points of the first set to gain an early 4-0 lead and went up 6-1 after an error plus a kill. McDaniel responded by taking five of the next six points to make it 7-6 until the Bears countered by winning six of the next eight points to go up 13-7. Ursinus extended its lead to 18-11 and seized control by going up 23-17 by taking advantage of multiple Green Terror errors. McDaniel pulled within four at 24-20 before an attack error ended the set.
McDaniel gained the early advantage in the second set by initially going up 3-1 and eventually 11-6 behind five kills in the run. The Green Terror continued to pull away as they won nine of the next 13 points to go up 20-11 and the Bears got as closed as just six points in the rest of the set.
The Green Terror opened the third set with a 3-1 lead as they did in the set before, but Ursinus won five of the next seven points to go up 6-5. McDaniel pulled ahead with an 8-7 lead until the Bears won six of the next seven points to go up 13-9. Ursinus extended its lead to as many as six points at 18-12 before the Green Terror won seven of the next eight points to tie the set at 19. McDaniel pulled ahead at 21-20, but the Bears countered by taking five of the last six points to win the set at 25-22.
Each team traded runs to start the fourth set as Ursinus won the first three points before McDaniel took the lead by taking six of the next eight points at 6-5. The Green Terror went up 8-6 before the Bears delivered a big run by winning nine of the next 11 points to go up 15-10. McDaniel pulled within three points at 16-13, but Ursinus won five straight to go up 21-13 and closed the match out by winning four of the last five points after leading 21-15.
