COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Senior defensive end Aaron Rios was named to the D3football.com All-Region 2 third team, announced by the website on Wednesday morning.
 
 
Rios earned Second Team honors which was the first time he garnered All-Region honors in his career.
 
 
This is the 21st annual D3football.com All-Region Teams. Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, and schools and conferences were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. In total, 1,210 players were nominated, a new high.
 
 
All-Region teams are selected in balloting by sports information directors in each region and D3football.com staff. All players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for the D3football.com All-America Team. The All-America teams will be announced on Dec. 22, 2025.
 
 
Rios ranked in the top-20 in NCAA Division III while pacing the Centennial Conference with 15.5 tackles for loss and ranked second in the Centennial with 5.5 sacks. He ranked third on the team with 50 tackles (33 solo) while forcing and recovering a fumble. He also earned All-Centennial Conference First Team honors. He finishes his career with 36 tackles for loss and 11 sacks with all but a 0.5 tackle for loss were compiled in the past two seasons. 
 
 
 This is the fifth straight season that the Bears had at least one player make the D3football.com all-region team.
