MADISON, N.J. – The Ursinus Women's Tennis team rallied in singles action for a dramatic 4-3 win over Drew in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
With the win, the Bears improved their record to 5-3 overall behind their fourth straight win. Meanwhile, the Rangers fell to 4-4 overall.
Drew swept the doubles matches to gain the first point of the match. Senior

Bella Vassalluzzo dropped a 6-4 No. 1 doubles match Mary Kalorin and Sophie Weaver before sophomore
Morgan Coupe and junior
Katie Yu suffered a 7-5 setback to Riley Roesel and Natalia Zamora at the No. 2 spot. Sophomore
Caroline Daly and junior
Fiona Finnerty lost a 6-4 No. 3 doubles match to Elise Parisi and Jada Worthem.
Junior
Kate Rubinkam got the Bears on the board with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-1) No. 4 singles win over Roesel, but Daly suffered a 3-6, 2-6 setback to Weaver at the No. 2 spot. A loss from Coupe at No. 5 singles to Pettoni 3-6, 0-6 put the Rangers in a spot where they needed just one more win to lock up the match. Ursinus began its rally when Armour outlasted Kalorin 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 12-10 at the No. 1 spot and Yu took down Zamora 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-6) at No. 3 singles. Vassalluzzo completed the Bears comeback by winning 6-2, 6-3 over Worthem at the No. 6 singles spot.
The Bears return to action on Saturday, March 22nd as they will travel to face Marymount (VA) at 12:00 p.m.
