Megan Matteucci represented Ursinus College gymnastics at the 2025 NCGA National Championship held at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday afternoon.
Roe earned All-American honors in three separate events: the All-Around, Vault, and Bars by finishing in the top eight in all three events. Roe is the first All-American for the Bears since
Alyssa DeLorme garnered All-American status in the All-Around at the 2022 NCGA Championships. Roe is the first All-American on the bars for Ursinus since Lauren Chavis and Jillian Casarella did so in 2016 and the first one on the vault since Kristin Aichele and junior Kristina Steffenhagen in 2015. She is also the first Bear since Steffenhagen at the 2015 Championships to garner multiple All-American honors in a single meet.
Roe totaled an All-Around score of 37.825 to finish sixth overall among the eight gymnasts competing in the All-Around. She capped a dominant season on the vault by posting a 9.750 that tied for third overall that saw her post at least a 9.7 on the vault in seven of the nine events she competed in this season. Roe earned her bars All-American nod with a career best score of 9.675 and tied for eighth overall. She recorded a score of 9.6 on the floor and tied for 41st overall.
Matteucci put a bow on her strong Ursinus career by recording a score of 9.575 on the floor in her NCGA Championship debut. Matteucci pioneered the Bears on the floor by posting at least a 9.7 six times in the event this season with four of them being at least a 9.8.
