COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Tennis dropped a 6-1 contest to No. 50 Haverford on Tuesday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.
Haverford won two doubles match wins to gain the first point of the match. Sophomore

Katie Yu dropped a 6-0 No. 2 doubles match to Lucy King and Abhishree Menon but sophomores
Caroline Daly and
Julia Nitz impressively took down Erika Phanord and Caroline Gay 6-3 at the No. 3 spot. However, senior
Allie Armour and junior
Bella Vassalluzzo dropped a tough 7-6 (7-1) No. 1 doubles match to Rachael Fitzgerald and Mallika Reddy.
Armour was defeated by Fitzgerald 1-6, 0-6 at the No. 1 singles spot and Daly was swept 0-6, 0-6 by King at the No. 2 position. Yu lost 1-6, 1-6 at the No. 3 spot to Reddy before Vassalluzzo dropped a 3-6, 1-6 match to Fitzgerald at No. 4 singles. Junior
Kate Rubinkam lost 0-8 to Menon at the No. 5 spot and the No. 6 match between Coupe and Gay was unfinished.
The Bears are right back to work tomorrow, April 16th as they will host McDaniel at 4:00 p.m. for their Faculty and Staff Appreciation match.
