MARLBORO, N.J. – Seventeen members of the Ursinus College gymnastics team were recognized as Scholastic All-America Award winners by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).

Sidney Schreiber; rising juniors
Arianna Ellis,
LeeLee Sanders,
Erin Roe, and
Lucy Warburton; and rising sophomore
Michaela Duffy in receiving the award which is given to student-athletes with a 3.50 overall grade-point average or a 3.50 GPA for the current academic year. The Bears' Scholastic All-America Award recipients constituted 72.7 percent of the overall team roster for the 2024-25 school year which ranked 39th in the country and sixth in all of Division III
This year's WCGA announcement enhances the standard of classroom success that head coach
Kim Valenti has installed in the Ursinus gymnastics program. As a team, the Bears recorded a 3.6 overall team GPA for the 2024-25 school year that ranked 54th in the country and ninth in Division III.
Brianna Duffy,
Michaela Duffy, Matteucci, Pierce, Ruggiero, Sanders, Scarpetti, and Stubbs all posted perfect 4.0 GPAs for the spring semester, and three Bears (Duffy, Scarpetti, and Pierce) maintained 4.0 cumulative averages for their collegiate careers. 15 Bears recorded a 3.70 GPA or higher for the year.
Matteucci, Tanguay, Pierce, and Stubbs completed their respective collegiate careers by earning their fourth Scholastic All-American award while
Brianna Duffy, Roth, and Schreiber became three-time Scholastic All-America Award recipients. The Bears garnered double-digit honorees for the seventh-straight season.
