WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Ursinus men's soccer could not overcome an early goal by McDaniel, falling 1–0 on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference play.
McDaniel scored the game's only goal in the 7th minute, when Charlie Olson finished from close range off a setup by Chase Osborn. Ursinus nearly responded just 30 seconds later. Junior
Luke Hansen got in behind the McDaniel backline and fired a shot on frame that was saved. The Bears generated several quality chances throughout the half—most notably from junior
Declan Curran, whose low shot in the 21st minute forced into a save. Ursinus first-year goalkeeper
Jaden Ottley made a key stop in the 33rd minute to keep it a one-goal game. The closing minutes of the first half saw another wave of chances for Ursinus. Sophomore
Teddy Polutta curled a shot just wide in the 44th minute, and first-year
Nathan Kinzel had a shot saved seconds later.
The second half saw fewer chances for both sides, with the Bears continuing to press but unable to find the equalizer. Ursinus had four shots as a team in the second half with all going wide of the net.
The Bears held a 14–8 advantage in shots but the shots on goal were tied at four. McDaniel held a 7-5 advantage in corner kicks. Ottley made a pair of saves in 90 minutes while Tate Roth made four saves in the full time.

st as they will travel to face Haverford at 4:00 p.m. in Centennial Conference play.
