COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Volleyball team opened Centennial Conference play against Dickinson on Saturday afternoon at Helfferich Hall.

Madison Small led the Bears with 12 kills and a .296 hitting percentage while adding four digs. Junior
Molly Stevenson posted 10 kills, four digs, and two aces while sophomore
Lauren McGinn posted 22 assists, nine digs, and one kill.
Dickinson won the first five points of the first set and stretched its lead out to 10-2. The Red Devils held a 15-8 lead before the Bears won five of the next six points to draw within three points at 16-13. Service errors plagued Ursinus throughout as one ended the run and Ursinus only got within three points for the remainder of the first set. Much like the first set, the Bears fell behind early as Dickinson won the first four points and trailed 6-1. The Bears rallied back and got within three points of Dickinson multiple times but could not draw closer. Ursinus took its first lead of the match in the third set as they started strong by going up 5-1. Dickinson won seven of the next nine points to tie the set at seven and started a back-and-fourth battle. The Red Devils delivered the decisive run in the set by winning six straight points after trailing 15-14.

th as they will travel to face Swarthmore at 7:00 p.m.
