Strusowski Garners Walter Camp All-American Honor

Walter Camp All-American Release

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. –
Following a breakout season, sophomore Ursinus Football defensive back Nick Strusowski was recently named a Walter Camp All-American, announced by the organization.

The organization named just one Division III team and the Walter Camp All-America Team was first selected in 1899 with only the highest level of college football a part of the process for many years.  For the first time in 2024, a Division III All-America Team was added and the selection of Strusowski this season makes him the first Walter Camp All-American in program history.

In his first season as a starter, Strusowski led the Centennial Conference with eight interceptions and returned a pick-6 against Kean back in September. His efforts against Kean earned him Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors and a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week. Strusowski also earned the Kenneth E. Walker trophy as the most outstanding Ursinus player in their homecoming game and grabbed two interceptions in the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series win over Lebanon Valley. Strusowski was a Second Team All-Centennial selection at safety and tied for third on the team with 56 tackles (32 solo) and ranked third on the team with five pass break-ups.

Ursinus finished the 2025 season with a 7-4 record and earned their third Centennial-MAC Bowl Series win in the last four seasons after defeating Lebanon Valley. The Bears have qualified for a postseason game in each of the last five seasons and six of the last seven seasons overall.
