COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The Ursinus Gymnastics team celebrated senior day in their dual meet against West Chester on Sunday afternoon at Helfferich Hall.

The Bears posted a team score of 189.525 behind totals of 47.575 on the vault, 47.050 on the bars, 46.875 on the beam, and 48.025 on the floor. West Chester recorded a team score of 190.950 with totals of 48.000 on the vault, 47.650 on bars, 46.800 on beam, and 48.500 on the floor.

After the meet, Ursinus honored its five graduating seniors:
Brianna Duffy,
Valentina Hurtado,
Kylie Ruggiero,
Adrienne Roth, and
Sidney Schreiber.

Ursinus started on the vault and recorded a team score of 47.575, led by junior
Erin Roe who tied for second with a 9.675. Schreiber followed with a 9.575 to tie for fourth and sophomore
Michaela Duffy was right behind at a 9.475. First-year
Elizabeth Toppi recorded a score of 9.425 and Hurtado rounded out the scores at a 9.250.

Junior
Lucy Warburton and Ruggiero led the Bears on the bars with each tallying a 9.550 and tied for third overall. Junior
LeeLee Sanders recorded a 9.450 and tied for sixth overall among the two teams and classmate
Lauren Coleman posted a score of 9.325. Roe added to her all-around total with a 9.175.

The Bears moved to the beam and junior
Arianna Ellis finished second overall behind a strong 9.675. Warburton and Sanders tied for fourth with scores of 9.550 and
Michaela Duffy finished seventh overall with a 9.275.

Schreiber powered the Bears on the floor with a 9.775 to continue her strong stretch in the event and finished second overall. Ellis recorded a 9.650 to finish sixth overall and Roe was next with a 9.625 that tied her for seventh overall. Warburton recorded a 9.575 and
Michaela Duffy added a 9.4

Roe was the lone all-around competitor in the meet and recorded a total of 37.300.

The Bears return to action on Sunday, March 1
st as they will compete in a quad meet at Towson with NC State and West Virginia starting at 2:00 p.m. for their last meet before NCGA East Regionals.
