D3hoops.com All-Region Team
NABC All-District team
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Ursinus men's basketball senior
Mohamed Toure earned multiple postseason accolades on Tuesday. Toure earned NABC First Team All-District 5 and Second Team D3hoops.com All-Region 5 honors.
The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division III. The D3hoops.com team has players originally nominated by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools. The ballot was then made available to SIDs on a voting committee, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region. It is the 25th season D3hoops.com has named All-Region teams.
Toure was phenomenal for the Bears in 2025-26 and turned in one of the best individual seasons in program history. He was the first Bear named Centennial Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year since 2008 and gain Centennial Conference First Team honors. Toure ranked third in the Centennial Conference at a career best 17.3 points per game. He made his mark in Centennial Conference games by recording a staggering 20.6 points per game in conference games that was a full point ahead of second place. Toure ranked third in the Centennial with a 49.4 field goal percentage and paced the Bears with 5.9 rebounds per game. He also led the team and ranked fifth in the Centennial at 1.0 steals per game. The Washington D.C., native was on fire in February by scoring at least 21 points in seven of the last eight games for Ursinus while scoring in double-figures in all but two games plus tallying three double-doubles.
This is the first time in his career that Toure has earned postseason accolades from the NABC and D3hoops.com. Toure is the second straight Bear to be named to the NABC All-District First Team after
Trevor Wall last season, who also earned D3hoops.com All-Region honors.
