With the win the Bears improved to 5-3 overall while the Rangers fell to 2-6 overall.

The Bears won two of the three doubles matches to gain the first point of the match. Sophomore Katie Yu and first-year Sara Steelesmith bested Kapriana Payami and Danielle Pettoni 6-2 at No. 3 doubles before senior Bella Vassalluzzo and junior Caroline Daly suffered a 6-4 setback to Natalia Zamora and Madison Williams at the No. 1 spot. Senior Kate Rubinkam and junior Morgan Coupe delivered the crucial point by defeating Riley Roesel and Nicole Kalorin 6-4 at the No. 2 spot.

In singles, first-year Mariah Mays defeated Kalorin 6-4, 6-3 and Daly was downed 2-6, 0-6 by Roesel at the No.1 spot.
