ABOUT THE EAST REGION: The regional meet consists of all seven schools in the region; SUNY Brockport, SUNY Cortland, Ithaca College, Rhode Island College, Springfield College, Ursinus, and Utica College. The top two scoring teams at the regional meet along with two at-large teams by SAS between the two regions will qualify. The Bears enter the meet ranked fifth among the teams in the region with a SAS of 189.35.

The SAS is determined by the average of four scores based on the following criteria:

i. Scores from meets held with more than half the teams being NCAA or NAIA collegiate varsity teams.
ii. All teams will get to count scores up to the second weekend in March (Conference/Regional scores may count).
iii. At least three scores must be hosted by a Division III institution (home or away).
iv. One of the Division III meets must be Away.
v. You are allowed to have a Division I, II or NAIA team at the meet
vi. There must be at least one Division III team participating beyond the Division III host.

(*Regional scores will count towards SAS and go into effect Saturday night before determining any At Large qualification)

Ursinus Rotation Order:

Rotation 1: Beam

Rotation 2: Bye

Rotation 3: Floor

Rotation 4: Vault

Rotation 5: Bye

Rotation 5: Bars

Rotation 6: Bye

The seeding of the rotations is determined so that the top-four teams ranked in the region finish the meet competing instead of being on a bye.

All-Around: The story of the 2026 season for the Bears has been the brilliance of junior Erin Roe as an All-Around gymnast. She holds the highest SAS in the East Region for All-Around at 38.350 and second in all NCGA. Roe is coming off setting both the NCGA East and Ursinus All-Around record score of 38.950 last week at Towson. Her score was also the second highest all time total in NCGA history. Roe represented the Bears last season in All-Around at the 2025 NCGA Championships and earned All-American honors at the meet along with the vault and bars. Roe has been named the NCGA East All-Around Gymnast of the Week three times this season.

Vault: Ursinus ranks third into regionals for the vault in SAS only to Brockport and Cortland. The Bears matched Brockport's top vault team score of the season last week at Towson with a 48.275 which was also the Bears highest team vault score since the 2015 NCGA National Championship meet. Roe has powered the Bears all season long on the vault and has the second highest individual SAS of 9.7625 in the region. Roe has posted at least a 9.675 on the vault in six of the seven meets this season and matched her career best score of 9.825 last week at Towson. Senior Sidney Schreiber ranks fifth in the east region with a SAS of 9.7063 and has posted at least a 9.675 in five of the seven meets this season.

Uneven Bars: The Bears are fourth in the region on uneven bars with their SAS. Ursinus posted a season-high score of 47.150 at West Chester on February 13th.  Roe leads the Bears in SAS on the bars with a 9.6313 that has her sixth highest in the East Region. She set a new career best of 9.725 on the bars last week at Towson. Junior Lucy Warburton is also having a career season on the bars by recording the second-highest team SAS at a 9.4750 and has a season best score of 9.550 that was set at the Bears home meet against West Chester on February 22nd. Junior LeeLee Sanders has become a key piece to the Ursinus bars team in 2026 by ranking third on the team with an SAS of 9.450 and has a career high score of 9.650 set at the West Chester Tri-Meet on February 13th.

Beam: Ursinus is fifth in the East Region for the beam in SAS. The Bears are coming off a strong showing on the beam at Towson last week with a team score of 48.450 that was the highest total in two seasons. Warburton paces the Bears with the team's highest SAS of 9.6625 that ranks ninth in the region. Warburton set a season best score of 9.675 twice this season both at Ithaca on January 18th and at home against Brockport on February 1st. Junior Arianna Ellis is right behind Warburton in SAS at 9.6563 and set a career high score of 9.725 at West Chester on February 13th. Roe holds a SAS of 9.6 and set a new career high score of 9.775 last week that was also the Bears highest individual score for the event this season.

Floor: The Bears also rank fifth in the East Region on the floor in SAS. Their highest team score for the event was a 48.350 that came at West Chester on February 13th. Schreiber has been the Bears ace on the floor this season by tying for fourth in the East Region with an SAS of 9.8125. She hit a new career high score of 9.850 twice this season both at home against Cortland to open the season and at West Chester. Warburton ranks second on the team with an SAS of 9.7125 and set a new career high score of 9.8 at Ithaca back in January. Roe holds a SAS of 9.650 and had her highest score of the season of 9.675 come in the first two meets of the season. Megan Matteucci represented the Bears on the floor last season at the NCGA Championships along with Roe.

UP NEXT: If the Bears finish with a top-two score tomorrow at Brockport or earn one of the two at-large berths, they will advance as a team to the NCGA Championships on March 20th at Cortland. Ursinus will also await any individual qualifiers for the meet if the team does not earn a berth.
