PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Ursinus Gymnastics team valiantly battled at the 2026 NCGA East Regional Championships held at Rhode Island College on Saturday afternoon.
The Bears finished fourth overall in the team standings for the second straight season behind a team score of 191.700, their highest team total at the East Regionals since 2015.

Brockport and Cortland earned the team automatic qualifiers for the 2026 NCGA National Championship that the Red Dragons will be hosting in two weeks.
The Bears score of 191.700 was made up of a vault score of 47.950, bars score of 47.575, beam score of 47.925, and a total of 48.250 on the floor.
Junior
Erin Roe solidified her third straight NCGA National Championship by claiming the All-Around title with a total of 38.625. Fresh off her historic all-around performance at Towson, Roe became the Bears first All-Around East Regional champion since Kaelin Ruoss in 2015.
Ursinus opened on the beam and Roe led the Bears with a 9.650 that tied her for 15th overall. Junior
Lucy Warburton and sophomore
Michaela Duffy matched totals of 9.625 while junior
Arianna Ellis recorded a score of 9.525. Senior
Sidney Schreiber recorded a score of 9.5 for the Bears.
Following a bye, the Bears turned to the floor where Schreiber was outstanding by posting a team high score of 9.775 that tied for sixth overall. Warburton followed with a 9.7 that tied her for 15th overall and Ellis tallied a 9.675. Roe record a 9.6,
Michaela Duffy tallied a 9.5, and first-year
Belle Bentman registered a season best score of 9.4 in her regionals debut.
Ursinus moved onto the vault where Schreiber and Roe matched the Bears top individual score of 9.7 that tied them for fifth overall.
Michaela Duffy followed with a 9.575 that tied her for 13th overall and first-year
Lily Stewart recorded a 9.5 in her regionals debut. First-year
Elizabeth Toppi recorded a 9.475 in her regionals debut and senior
Valentina Hurtado rounded out the Ursinus totals with a 9.325.
The Bears finished their day on the bars after second bye and Warburton along with Roe tied for third overall with a team-best 9.675. For Warburton it was a career best score on the event while Roe finished off her all-around title. Sanders recorded a 9.5 and junior
Lauren Coleman was next for the Bears with a 9.4. Senior
Kylie Ruggiero tallied a 9.325 and classmate
Brianna Duffy finished with a 9.275.
The NCGA will announce individual qualifiers and the final two at-large teams for the NCGA National Championship on Monday.
