COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College Softball team dropped both games in their Centennial Conference doubleheader on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon at the Snell Softball Field.
In game one, the Bears navigated through some early Mules runners in scoring position to keep the game scoreless in the seventh inning. However, the Mules did all their damage with nine runs off seven hits and one error in the top of the seventh. In game two, the Bears answered a first inning Mules run and tied the game at one in the bottom of the second off an RBI single by senior
Riley Coneeny. Muhlenberg scored two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to go up 6-1.
The Bears return to action on Saturday, April 18th as they will travel to face Washington College for a doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m.
