Biography

SENIOR (2022): Appeared in three games and made two starts in net...Totaled 20 saves in 105:55 minutes of action and a .465 save percentage...Made 12 saves against Stevenson (2/19)...Played final 8:09 and made two big stops versus Franklin & Marshall (4/16)...Earned win and made six saves in 37:46 of action against McDaniel (4/23).

JUNIOR (2021): Started every game for the second year in a row ... Produced a .539 save percentage and career-best 9.13 goals-against average ... Finished with 11 saves and allowed only six goals in opening win over Washington College (4/7) ... Piled up a career-high 19 saves in overtime victory at Muhlenberg (4/28), after which he was named Centennial Conference defensive player of the week and to the USILA Division III Team of the Week

SOPHOMORE (2020): Started and won all seven games ... Posted .547 save percentage and allowed less than 10 goals per game ... Finished with 81 saves, including double-digit stops in all but two contests ... Had 15 saves in season-opening win over Stevenson (2/15) ... Racked up season-high 16 against Christopher Newport (2/29) 

FRESHMAN (2019): Played in two games ... Made collegiate debut against Eastern (3/13) ... Played entire second half against Haverford (4/20), racking up five saves and allowing only two goals

Before Ursinus: Two-time All-County goalie selection as junior and senior at Cold Spring Harbor High School ... Member of three-straight NYSPHSAA state championship teams from freshman to junior seasons

Personal: Born November 15, 1999 ... Son of Chris and Patti Porzelt ... Father played football at St. John's ... Has two siblings, Breanne and Kevin, who played lacrosse at UMass Amherst ... Finance major ... Lacrosse representative on Ursinus Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

Why Ursinus? Ursinus was a perfect fit for me academically especially since class sizes typically are between 8-20 people. The lacrosse program has a great reputation and plays in a very competitive Centennial Conference with great competition.
