Biography

Kara is a senior defender from Forty Fort, Pa. who graduatedfrom Wyoming Valley West High School. She is a Media andCommunications major with a minor in studio art. Kara is a memberof the Theta Chi Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the NationalCommunication Association Honor Society, and is involved inEcoReps, and UCTV. She is also a Relay for Life Participant andUrsinus College Organic Garden volunteer. Kara's family includesher parents Carl and Deborah and older sisters Karleigh andKate.

2011: Participated in six contests duringher sophomore campaign... Took five shots...

2010: In her freshman debut, Bowen playedin eight games for the Bears…She scored two goals.
