Colin Klingman

2020 Ursinus Graduate Colin Klingman will enter his first season as Men's Soccer Head Coach this fall.

At Binghamton, Klingman focused primarily on training the goalkeepers while assisting in recruiting and operations duties. He helped lead the Bearcats back to the America East Semifinal for the second straight season. Prior to Binghamton, Klingman was a graduate assistant on the Catholic Cardinals Men’s Soccer staff as he earned his Master of Science Degree in Management with a concentration in Management & Leadership. Along with his recruiting and operations duties, Klingman assisted with on field sessions, recruiting, and strength and conditioning. He was a member on the coaching staff that led the Cardinals to the 2021 Landmark Championship and appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16 the following season.

Klingman got his collegiate coaching start at his Alma Mater right after graduation as he helped guide the Bears Men’s Soccer team through the COVID pandemic canceled season of 2020 under head coach Keith Cappo. Klingman assisted with on field sessions, social media accounts, and created team building activities. He was a four-year member of the Bears Soccer team from 2016 to 2019 where he served as team captain in three of those seasons while appearing and starting in all 60 games on defense. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Ursinus in May of 2020.

In addition to his work at the collegiate level, Klingman has served as both a head and assistant coach for various youth soccer programs in both the Collegeville and Washington D.C. area. Klingman spent a year as the Head coach of the U-14 team and assistant coach of the U-15 team for West Mont United before serving as the Head Coach for CCL U23 Pro team, and U18 Red boys head coach for DC Soccer Club for two years.
