GLENSIDE, Pa. – Ursinus College took a 7-2 decision
against Arcadia on Thursday afternoon in men's tennis
action.
The Bears (5-8) took all three doubles matches as senior
Bennett MacLaughlin (Gaithersburg, Md./Bullis
School) and freshman Sean Kelley (Hershey,
Pa./Hershey) defeated Danny Ly and Bart Blankenship at
number one flight, 8-6. At number two flight, junior Greg Lewis (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) and
freshman Chris Wyshock (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock
Township) defeated Christopher Finney and Pedro Leal,
9-7.
Finally, senior Jason Zerbe (Berwick,
Pa./Berwick) and senior Josh Hollaman (Stratford,
Conn./Bunnell) defeated Zach Millford and Eric Elie at
number three flight, 8-4.
In singles play, MacLaughlin defeated Ly at number one flight by
default. Wyshock defeated Blankenship at number three flight, 6-3,
8-6, with Zerbe winning his match at number five flight, 6-1,
6-2.
Hollaman ended the match with a win at number six flight over
Spencer Lalk, 6-3, 6-2.
