COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College women's soccer senior midfielder Alex Shivers (Pine Beach, N.J./Toms River South) scored the match's lone goal 14 seconds in the second half as the Bears (2-0) blanked Baptist Bible (1-2) 1-0 Saturday afternoon.

Shivers' goal, her first of the season, came as she took the ball near midfielder and beat the BBC defense.

That would be all freshman goalkeeper Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) would need as she made two saves to post her first collegiate shutout to move to 2-0 on the season.

Ursinus had a 34-7 advantage in shots, holding the Defenders to just one second half shot.
