CHESTERTOWN, Md. -  Washington College's Brittany Weaver scored the lone goal of the game with 5:21 left in the contest as the Shorewomen (6-7, 2-5 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (2-7-4, 0-4-4 Centennial) 1-0 Wednesday afternoon in women's soccer play.

Weaver scored on a corner by Suzanne Patinella and a touch from Marisa Atkins.

Ursinus did hold a 23-13 advantage on shots, with sophomore forward Ama Achiaw (Damascus, N.J./Westover School) having six.

Junior goalkeeper Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) made three saves in the loss.

Ursinus hosts Dickinson Saturday.
