Men's Tennis falls to Muhlenberg, 5-4

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team closed their season with a 5-4 loss to Muhlenberg on Saturday, ending their season with 12-10 record.

In doubles play, the team of sophomore Evan Stutchin (Cape Coral, Fla./Canterbury School) and sophomore Matt Hope (Wyomissing, Pa./Wilson) defeated Jordan Ruttt and Jason Teitelbaum at number one flight, 8-5, while the team of sophomore Evan Lord (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton) and sophomore Brent Stevenson (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) defeated Daniel Lakhman and Eric Chavis, 8-6.

In singles play, Stuchin defeated Rutt, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, at number one flight. He finished the season with a record of 18-5 and was 7-3 in Centennial dual matches.

Sophomore Dylan Marsh (Lloyd Harbor, N.Y./Cold Spring Harbor) won his match at number six singles by retirement over Andrew Brod.
