Men's Tennis drops 6-3 match to Washington

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – After holding a 2-1 lead following the doubles competition, Ursinus (10-6, 0-5 Centennial) dropped five of six singles matches as Washington College (6-5, 3-2 Centennial) defeated the Bears 6-3 in a men's tennis match Tuesday.

At number one doubles, Evan Stutchin and Matt Hope defeated Marc Cywinski and Vishnu Rajes, 8-4, before Tyler Arsenault and Henry Burke defeated Joel Novick and Zachary Novick at number three flight, 8-4.

Stutchin won his match at number one singles over Rajes by retirement after Stutchin was leading 4-0 in the first set.

Ursinus hosts Gettysburg on Saturday, which will be its home finale and senior day.
