Men's Tennis doubles up Muhlenberg, 6-3

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College men's tennis team finished its season on a high note, doubling up Muhlenberg 6-3 to finish the season with a record of 11-9.

Ursinus went up 2-1 after doubles as the team of freshman Caleb Kramer (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) and junior Tyler Arsenault (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) won their match at first flight, 8-5, while freshman Peter Shields (Darien, Conn./Hotchkiss School) and senior Mike Melchiorre (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) won their match at number three flight, 8-5.

In singles, Arsenault won his match over Eric Chavis at number two flight, 6-3, 6-3, while junior Dalton Lynch (Lancaster, Pa./McCaskey) defeated Neil Shulman at number four flight, 6-4, 6-3.

Shields won his match at number five flight, 6-0, 6-3, over Adam Halpern, while Melchiorre defeated Derek Greene at number six flight, 6-4, 6-3.
