BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Ursinus freshman forward Mackenzie Groff (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) scored on a header at 50:09, which was the lone goal of the contest as the Bears (4-1) defeated Moravian (1-2-1) 1-0 Saturday afternoon in women's soccer play.

Groff scored on a cross from senior defender Kelsey Shafer (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham), which Shafer sent in from just outside the box.

From there, junior goalkeeper Courtney Sullivan (Maple Glen, Pa./Gwynedd-Mercy Academy) made four saves as the Bears held a 7-5 advantage on shots.

Ursinus now has the week off, before heading to Gettysburg next Saturday to open up Centennial play.
