Manning's header missed wide of the net to keep the score tied. Ursinus responded with a scoring chance in the 12th minute, as sophomore midfielder Grace Senese fired a shot wide of the net.  Ten minutes later, Haverford's Celia Page fired a shot on net, but it was denied by Frenchman and the defense.

With seven minutes to go before halftime, Frenchman made three consecutive saves after Haverford shots from Lauren Anderson, Phoebe Garfield, and Meg Bowen. The Fords closed out the first half with back-to-back corner kick opportunities, but the Bears defense stood tall denying each chance.

Ursinus amped up the pressure in the first few minutes of the second half firing off three shots with two being saved by Haverford goalie Claire Cywes. The Fords responded with a shot of their own in the 66th minute as McMilan's opportunity was saved by the Bears' Frenchman. Much of the second half was a battle of the midfields from both teams, as each defense denied many attacks. The Fords had the last opportunity of the match after a corner kick in the 87th minute. A header from Sarah Klink missed high of the net and Haverford's Grace Haskell second shot just missed wide as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
