Ursinus forced a three-and-out and swiftly marched 76 yards down the field in 10 plays to go up 14-0, capped by a six-yard score from Fresses. The Bears quickly made it 21-0 in the first quarter when Psenicska found Collier for his first of three touchdown receptions from 31 yards, while going a perfect 5-of-5 on the drive. Sophomore defensive back
Anthony Esposito set the Bears up with great field position yet again after intercepting Juniata quarterback Noah Wright at Eagles 22 yard line. Holden scored two plays later to make it a 28-0 Ursinus lead at the end of one quarter.
The Bears continued to keep it rolling in the second quarter as they scored on their fifth-straight possession when Psenicska found Collier from 34 yards out to make it 34-0. Ursinus made it 6-for-6 to start the game with touchdowns on offensive possessions when Fresses scored from 19 yards out at the 2:57-mark of the second quarter. Juniata would score their lone points of the game by blocking a Bears punt out of the end zone on their next drive to make it 41-2 late in the second quarter. Ursinus countered with a stop following the free kick and senior kicker
Dakota Wherrity drilled a 44-yard field goal to close out the first half to make it 44-2. It was the longest field goal by a Bears kicker since 1997 and matched the longest field goal in the Centennial this season.
