Ursinus 13, Clarks Summit 2 (5 innings)
The Bears loaded the bases with no outs in the first inning and pushed their first run across when first-year Kayla Carr hit a sacrifice fly to center. Junior Maddie Solow followed with a sacrifice fly of her own to make it 2-0. The Defenders rallied to tie the game in the bottom half of the inning with a pair of runs off a groundout and two-out single. The Bears responded with four runs of their own in the top of the second to take the lead for good in the contest. Junior Madison Wilson ripped across the first two runs with a triple to left center and sophomore Samantha Mallen followed with a single in the next at-bat to make it 5-2. Mallen stole a pair of bases to put herself on third and came around to score off a sacrifice fly from sophomore Stephanie Wichman. Ursinus added four more runs in the top of the fourth to take a commanding 10-2 lead. Wilson drew a walk and advanced to third behind a stolen base and wild pitch. Wichman doubled to get Wilson home before Carr followed with a triple to score Wichman. Solow and senior then Allyson Meakim replicated the previous two at-bats by hitting a double and triple. Ursinus capped the game by adding three runs in the fifth inning and closed the game out in the following half inning with the run rule already enacted.

Ursinus 3, Delaware Valley 2
Mallen got the ball rolling for the Bears once again as she drew leadoff walk and advanced to third off a stolen base and groundout. Carr hit a deep single to third to score Mallen and put the Bears up 1-0 in the bottom of the first. Following a scoreless second inning, the Aggies grabbed a pair of runs to take their first lead of the game at 2-1. Delaware Valley loaded the bases with one out and scored both runs off strong base running following a grounder to second base. However, Ursinus got the run back in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game at two. Wichman led the inning off with a double and pinch runner Anna Mefford scored after advancing from a fly and ground out. The Aggies started the top of the fourth with a pair of singles which brought in Wichman to the circle to relieve starter Alexis Miller. Wichman retired the next three batters to get the Bears out of the jam. Wichman continued to dominate in relief and kept the game knotted at two behind allowing just two hits in her four innings of work. Mallen led off the seventh for the Bears with a sharp single through the left side and stole second base. Carr came through clutch for Ursinus with two outs as she snuck a single up the middle to score Mallen and win the game.
