ASHLAND, Va. – The Ursinus Men's Basketball team was unable to overcome a fast start from Randolph-Macon as they dropped a 97-54 game in the Championship Game of the Suyes Yellow Jackets Classic on Sunday afternoon.

Mohamed Toure were named to the All-Tournament team as Wall led the Bears once again in scoring with 16 points and grabbed four rebounds. Junior
Nick Nocito was the second Bear in double-figures with 10 points.
Toure opened the game with a three-pointer to give the Bears the lead and a layup from Wall put Ursinus up 5-2 at the 18:55-mark. The Bears continued to go back and forth with the Yellow Jackets and held a 12-7 lead at the 14:58-mark of the first half before Randolph-Macon stormed ahead with a 33-4 run and went up 40-16 with 2:48 left in the first half. The run was part of a 42-12 run that the Yellow Jackets closed the half out on. Ursinus was unable to pull back into the contest as the Yellow Jackets stretched its lead out in the second half to finish off the game.
The Bears shot 37 percent (17-of-46) from the field and just 21.7 percent (5-of-23) from three-point range. Ursinus went 15-of-23 (65.2%) from the free throw line as well. Meanwhile, the Yellow Jackets shot a strong 56.3 percent (36-of-64) behind a sizzling 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from three-point range. Randolph-Macon went 11-of-16 from the free throw line and held a 39-24 rebounding advantage.
Ursinus returns to action on Saturday, January 4th as they will travel to face Elizabethtown at 1:30 p.m.
