SALISBURY, Md. – The Ursinus Softball team dropped a pair of games in a doubleheader to No. 2 Salisbury on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.
In game one, the Sea Gulls opened the scoring with a single with runners on first and third and one out to take the initial 1-0 lead. Salisbury extended their lead in the bottom of the second to 2-0 with a run being scored off a wild pitch. The Bears went toe-to-toe with the national runner-up Sea Gulls and sophomore pitcher

Samantha Mallen led Ursinus at the plate by going 2-for-3 with a stolen base.
Salisbury hit the ground running in game two with a three-run home run to gain the early 3-0 lead. The Sea Gulls added three more runs in the bottom of the second off another three-run home run before scoring their final three runs from home runs as well in the 5th and 6th innings. Sophomore

Ursinus returns to action on Tuesday, April 16th as they will travel to face Swarthmore for a doubleheader in a rematch of last year's Centennial Conference Championship Series starting at 3:00 p.m.
