First-years

Jude Gilhool added a 2-for-4 performance for his fifth multi-hit performance of the year and extending his hitting streak to seven games.
The Bears struck first in the opening frame as a two-out hit from Ross scored Sullivan to give Ursinus an early 1-0 advantage. With two runners in scoring position, the Red Devils escaped the jam by recording an infield ground out. Dickinson bounced back in the ensuing frame as a pair of extra base hits including a two-run homerun gave the visitors a 3-1 advantage. Sophomore starting pitcher
Dan Bass started to settle in on the mound tallying three consecutive outs via a ground out, fly out, and line out to end the inning.
During the bottom of the second inning, Ursinus responded with a run to cut their deficit to 3-2. Gilhool led off the frame with an infield single before advancing to third on a single by sophomore
George Nestor. After a sacrifice bunt moved Nestor into scoring position, Sullivan recorded an RBI on a ground out to second. The Bears put runners on base during the next two innings, but were unable to scratch a run across as a two-run fifth inning stretched the Red Devils lead to 5-2. With two outs, a single and a walk set up a two-out double by the Devils to increase their lead to three before a strikeout ended the frame. Ursinus added a run in the bottom of the sixth inning as a wild pitch allowed Gilhool to cross the plate. During the frame, Gilhool opened with a single while a hit-by-pitch from Richter, and a single from Sullivan loaded the bases. After the wild pitch, a flyout stranded two runners on base and kept the Bears deficit at 5-3.
Bass closed out his final inning of work on the mound in the seventh inning as a great defensive play cut a runner down at the plate, before a pop up, and line out ended the frame. Junior
Connor Bogansky relieved Bass in the eighth and struck out two batters while retiring the side in order.
Ursinus added their final run in the bottom of the eighth as four singles in the frame brought the Bears deficit to one. Nestor, Rosenfeld, and Richter each singled, while a line drive from Sullivan scored a run. With two runners on, the Red Devils induced a ground out to end the inning and held onto a 5-4 lead. Unfortunately, the Bears were unable to deliver the tying run in the ninth inning dropping game one via a 5-4 score.

The Red Devils opened the scoring in the second inning as a throwing error during a pickoff attempt gave Dickinson a 1-0 lead. Junior starter
Kieran Hollander stranded a runner in scoring position as a strikeout and ground out closed out the inning. After the Bears chance at the plate, Dickinson increased their lead to 4-0 as three hits and an error scored three runs. With two outs and two runners on, a two RBI single and a triple brought home three runs for the Red Devils.

in scoring position and kept the Bears deficit at three.
Tuley faced a similar situation in the top of the fifth as the Red Devils first two batters reached on singles and a sacrifice bunt moved each runner into scoring position. Tuley struck out the ensuing batter, but a walk loaded the bases for the visitors. He would strand the bases loaded as a flyout to center field ended the top of the fifth. Junior lefty

Unfortunately, a ground out stranded the tying runs on base to keep the Bears deficit at 4-2.
