At the 51:00-mark, Muther recovered a loose ball on the far side of the field before a bouncing past snuck through the defense and found Desic open in the box for the score. Just 21 seconds later, Weir capitalized off a deflected shot and netted his first goal of the season. Ursinus continued to push the pressure in the second half as Polutta and Dzombalic each recorded goals to increase the Bears lead to eight and give the Bears an 8-0 season opening victory.
