LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team wrapped up its busy weekend at the Coach I Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday.
Junior
Kaelin Ryan posted multiple top-10 finishes for the Bears as she posted a personal best 9.72 in the 60 meter hurdle finals to finish fifth overall. Ryan followed with an eighth place finish in the 400 meters on a time of 1:02.89.
Junior
Mia Sideris paced the Bears in the mid-distance races by finishing fourth overall in the mile on a time of 5:26.98. Senior
Meghan Carroll led Ursinus in the 800 meters on a time of 2:34.73 that placed her 12th overall.
First-year
Mia Bompensa finished fourth in the pole vault after clearing the bar at 3.03 meters while junior
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman placed eighth. First-year
Sam Leo finished seventh in the long jump with her mark of 4.85 meters and junior
Lily Nagy was eighth behind a personal nest mark of 4.84 meters. Junior
Amanda Traska finished eighth in the high jump after clearing the bar at 1.47 meters while sophomore
Madison Lippay posted a mark of 1.42 meters to finish 13th overall. Nagy also posted a top-10 finish in the triple jump on her mark of 9.93 meters to place eighth and junior
Rhiannon Okuniewski finished with a 9.61 meter jump to finish 14th.
Sophomore
Hannah Quinn led Ursinus in the weight throw with a mark of 12.91 meters that placed her 13th overall.
Ursinus returns to action on Friday, January 31st at the Rutgers Scarlet Knight Open held at New York City's Armory.
