HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Cross Country team sent a few runners to compete in the Haverford Invitational on Friday evening.
The four-mile race, serving as a final tune-up for Centennial Conference Championships next week, featured runners from Division I, II, and III.
First-year
Nick Sirdashney led five Bears in the race with a time of 22:39.1 and placed 34
th overall. First-year
Ramon Martinez followed in 42
nd overall with his time of 23:15.3. Sophomore Johnathan Sabo was right behind Martinez in 43
rd with his time of 23:23.5 and junior
Sean Geherty was 46
th with his time of 23:35.2. Senior
Alek Kusmirek rounded out the Bears runners in 61
st with his time of 26:43.3
The Bears return to action on Saturday, November 1
st as they will compete in the Centennial Conference Championship race at Gettysburg at 11:00 a.m.
