Men's Wrestling Post 3-1 Record at Gator Boots Duals

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Ursinus men's wrestling team posted a 3-1 record Saturday at the Gator Boots Duals, hosted by Luther College and MaGovney High School.

The Bears earned victories over Wisconsin-Oshkosh (34-14), No. 24 Luther (27-24) and Lakeland (37-11) before falling to No. 18 Baldwin Wallace (28-16). Juniors Andrew Schaen (141 pounds), Braden Kmak (157) and Mohamed Abdelatty (285) led the Ursinus lineup, each finishing with a perfect 4-0 record.

"The men's team absolutely battled today, and it was great to get a big win," Director of Wrestling Joe Jamison said. "We really turned some heads with our brand of wrestling, and the work we're putting in is showing on the mat. We'll have the next two weeks off for break, and everyone will get some much-needed recovery."
