HAVERFORD, Pa. –In a last tune up before Centennial Conference Championships next week, the Ursinus Women's Track & Field team competed at the Keogh Invitational hosted by Haverford on Saturday.
The Bears competed against nine different schools Division III from either the Greater Philadelphia area or the Centennial Conference in the meet.
The meet opened on Friday afternoon as the weight throw was held at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center. Sophomore
Hannah Quinn led the Bears in both throwing events this weekend as she threw a career best 13.94 meter mark in the weight throw to finish fourth. First-year
Lily McGrath also hit a career best mark for the event with her throw of 11.79 meters placed her seventh. Quinn led the Bears with an eighth place finish in the shot put with her throw of 9.88 meters and classmate
Randi Wood finished ninth with her throw of 9.65 meters.
First-year
Skylar Womack competed in a pair of sprinting events for the Bears and posted a time of 11.37 in the 60 meter dash before posting a time of 31.87 in the 200 meters. Junior
Corrine Martello earned a top-10 in the 400 meters with her time of 1:09.33 to place eighth overall and classmate
Veronica Filippone rounded out the top-10 on a time of 1:10.06.

Candace Hudson finished 11th in the mile to lead a group of Bears on a career best time of 5:58.10 and first-year
Julianna Mullen finished in the top-10 in the 3,000 meters on a time of 12:42.01 to place ninth overall.
Ursinus opens competition at the 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships which will be hosted by Franklin & Marshall. First competition begins Saturday, March 1st at 10:30 a.m.
