COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Indoor Track & Field team turned in a strong showing as they hosted the annual Frank Colden Invitational, their final home meet of the indoor season, at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center on Saturday.
First-year
Mia Bompensa highlighted the meet by taking the pole vault by matching her career best mark of 3.05 meters. She is now tied for the fourth best mark in the Centennial Conference for the event and was followed in fourth place by junior
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman with a mark of 2.90 meters.
In jumps, first-year
Sam Leo led the Bears in the long jump in fourth place with her mark of 4.95 meters and sophomore
Madison Lippay was fifth in the high jump with a personal best mark of 1.50 meters. Junior
Lily Nagy recorded a personal best triple jump mark at 10.08 meters and classmate
Rhiannon Okuniewski followed in ninth on a season best jump of 9.81 meters. Sophomore
Hannah Quinn paced the Bears in both throwing events with a 10th place finish in the weight throw at 13.33 meters and 14th in the shot put at 10.10 meters.
First-year
Nadly Gyapong finished sixth in the 60 meter finals with her time of 8.04 after qualifying in the prelims on a time of 8.25. Bauroth-Sherman qualified for the 60 meter hurdle finals with her personal best time of 10.36 and finished eighth in the finals. A pair of Bears competed in the 5,000 meters and senior
Candace Hudson earned a top-10 with a season best time of 20:57.79. Junior
Brooke Richards placed 13th overall on her time of 22:31.53.

Kira Wise finished fourth with a time of 4:32.39.
The Bears return to action next weekend in split squad action at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational and the Widener Indoor Classic starting on Friday, February 14th.
