LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team earned a pair of medals and had a school record taken down on the first day of the 2025 Centennial Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Franklin & Marshall's Schnader Field House.
The Bears sit in sixth overall in the team standings with 18 points after the first day of competition.
Sophomore
Hannah Quinn bested the Bears weight throw school record after recording a throw of 14.05 meters to finish seventh overall. Quinn beat the previous mark of 14.00 meters set by
Jacqueline Allen in 2023.
The 4x200 relay team repeated their silver medal from last year's championships as first-year

Sam Wechsler, and junior
Kaelin Ryan finished second with their time of 1:47.12 that bested the time from the 2024 Championships.
Wechsler brought home the Bears other medal of the day with a bronze in the triple jump with a mark of 11.06 meters. Wechsler also qualified for the 60 meter hurdle finals with her sixth place finish on her time of 9.50. Ryan will join Wechsler in the final after placing third on her time of 9.44. Gyapong earned a spot in the 60 meter dash finals after posting a career best time of 7.94 to finish third in the prelims.
The second and final day of the 2025 Centennial Conference Indoor Championships starts at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, March 2nd.
