Women's T&F Gains Two Medals, Places Fourth at CC Indoor Championships

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field won two more medals on the final day of the 2025 Centennial Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Bears finished fourth overall as the meet ended with 55 total team points.
 
 
 The Bears posted a total of four medals for the weekend to complete their tally with one silver and three bronze.
 
 
Sophomore Sam Wechsler added her second bronze medal of the weekend in long jump with her mark of 5.31 meters. Wechsler also finished fifth in the 60 meter hurdles on her time of 9.44. Junior Kaelin Ryan earned the other medal of the day for Ursinus in the 60 meter hurdles after crossing the line in third on a personal best time of 9.26. Ryan earned a fifth place finish in the 200 meter dash with her time of 26.50.
 
 
First-years Emily Barlam and Sam Leo followed Wechsler in the long jump as Barlam placed fifth on her jump of 5.19 meters while Leo rounded out the top-10 on her mark of 4.83 meters. Junior Amanda Traska finished fifth in the high jump at 1.49 meters and first-year Skylar Womack placed 10th on her jump of 1.39 meters. Sophomore Hannah Quinn led the Bears in the shot put in 12th with a personal best throw of 10.63 meters.
 
 
 
First-year Nadly Gyapong finished fourth in the 60 meter dash after crossing the line at a personal best time of 7.94. Gyapong also earned a top-10 in the 200 meter dash in eighth at a 26.75. Junior Mia Sideris finished seventh in the 3,000 meters on a personal best time of 10:35.10 and senior Meghan Carroll rounded out the top-10 in the 800 meters with her time of 2:24.54.
 
 
 
Ursinus will return to action on Friday, March 7th as they will compete at the two-day AARTFC Championship hosted by Ithaca College beginning at 10:00 a.m.
