CHESTER, Pa. – The Ursinus Woen's Track & Field team opened its Outdoor season this weekend at the Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener.
Sophomore
Sam Wechsler highlighted the meet finishing third in the long jump at 5.40 meters. First-year
Emily Barlam recorded a top-10 finish as well in eighth behind a mark of 5.20 meters.
Sophomore
Hannah Quinn led the Bears on Friday in the discus with her mark of 35.19 meters to finish 13th and tossed a 37.43 meter hammer throw on Saturday as the lone Ursinus competitor in the event. Sophomore
Randi Wood had the Bears best shot put mark of the meet at 9.73 meters.
The Bears had a pair compete in the pole vault as junior
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman finished 13th with a mark of 3.05 meters and first-year
Mia Bompensa cleared the bar in 15th at 2.90 meters.
Ursinus returns to action on Friday, April 4th as they will open the two-day Ursinus Track & Field Festival starting at 4:00 p.m. with the Hammer Throw.
