<strong>ITHACA, N.Y. –</strong> Junior
Kaelin Ryan bested the Ursinus Women's Track & Field indoor 200 meter school record to headline the team competing in the two-day AARTFC Championships hosted by Ithaca College this weekend.<br />

The meet served as a last chance opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships next weekend at Nazareth College.<br />

Ryan crossed the line on Saturday in the 200 meters with an indoor school record time of 26.15 that just surpassed the old mark of 26.20 set by Erin Farrell in 2016. Ryan also competed in the 60 meter hurdle prelims that were held on Friday and finished 16th with a time of 9.41.<br />

Sophomore
Sam Wechsler competed in a trio of events this weekend starting on Friday with a sixth place finish in the long jump on a mark of 5.49 meters. Wechsler had an identical 9.41 time to Ryan in the 60 meter hurdles as well. Wechsler earned a bronze in the triple jump on Saturday behind posting a mark of 11.53 meters.<br />

Nadly Gyapong wrapped up Friday for the Bears by placing 16th in the 60 meter prelims with a time of 7.98. Junior
Mia Sideris recorded a time of 10:50.79 in the 3,000 meters to place 22nd overall and senior Meghan Caroll crossed the line in the 800 meters at 2:28.67.<br />

The Bears will await bids to the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship meet starting next Friday, March 14th at Nazareth College. Senior
Rainah Dunham has bested NCAA provisional marks in the triple and long jump back in January.<br />
