LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team started its weekend of competition at the two-day Bucknell University Bison Classic on Saturday.
Competing against teams from all three NCAA Divisions, the Bears had numerous athletes in jumping events along with one mid-distance event.
First-year
Emily Barlam led a pair of Bears in the long jump by posting a mark of 4.95 meters and sophomore
Sam Wechsler recorded her mark of 4.80 meters. Junior
Amanda Traska represented the Bears in the high jump and cleared the bar at 1.48 meters. On the track, senior
Meghan Carroll competed in the 800 meters and finished with a time of 2:24.98.
Ursinus wraps up their weekend tomorrow, April 13th at the Bison Classic which starts back up at 10:30 a.m.
