GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team competed in their final regular season meet before the Centennial Championship meet next week by competing in the Gwynedd Mercy Last Chance Meet on Sunday.
Senior
Meghan Carroll won the 400 meters with her time of 1:01.13 while classmate
Sierra Hufnagle finished second in the 400 meter hurdles on a time of 1:16.77 on the track.
Junior
Corrine Martello finished fifth in the long jump at 3.95 meters and first-year
Kamarah Jones led a pair of Bears in the shot put in fourth at 8.62 meters. Sophomore
Leah Lewis finished sixth with her throw of 7.81 meters. Lewis finished seventh in the hammer throw at 24.62 meters and sophomore
Randi Wood was ninth at 20.75 meters. Sophomore
Talia Jones finished fifth in the javelin with her throw of 21.17 meters.
Ursinus returns to action on Friday, May 2nd as they will host the first of the three-day 2025 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship Meet starting at 1:00 p.m.
