COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team hosted their home Track & Field Festival this weekend at Patterson Field in the first full team meet of the 2025 Outdoor Season.
Junior
Kaelin Ryan had a strong meet by finishing second overall and was the top Division III Athlete in the 100 meter hurdles with her personal best time of 15.14. Ryan also finished sixth in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.01. Right behind Ryan in third was sophomore
Sam Wechsler who recorded a time of 15.81. Wechsler won the triple jump as well with a mark of 11.35 meters and completed her dynamic day by finishing third in the long jump on a season best mark of 5.47 meters. Junior
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman rounded out the top-10 for the Bears in the 100 meter hurdles with her time of 17.59.
A pair of Ursinus runners earned top-five finishes in the 5,000 meters as junior
Mia Sideris finished fourth on a personal best time of 18:26.37 and senior
Ryann Wauthier was fifth on a time of 19:19.37. Senior
Candace Hudson placed 11th in the race on a time of 20:14.79.
Sophomore
Hannah Quinn led the Bears in a pair of throwing events starting with a fourth place finish in the hammer throw that was held Friday at 39.21 meters. Quinn placed ninth in the discus with a throw of 33.12 meters and classmate
Randi Wood was 11th at 32.97 meters. Wood threw a personal best in the shot put as well at 10.30 meters.
First-year
Emily Barlam posted a season best mark of 5.23 meters in the long jump and finished seventh overall. Junior
Rhiannon Okuniewski finished 12th in the triple jump with her mark of 9.81 meters and 17th in the long jump at 4.64 meters. Senior
Sierra Hufnagle placed 13th in the 400 meter hurdles after crossing the line at 1:15.75.
Ursinus returns to action on Friday, April 11th as they will open competition at the three-day Bucknell Outdoor Classic.
