WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Ursinus Women's Track & Field had a pair of athletes compete in the two-day All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championship (AARTFC) at Williams College that wrapped up on Thursday afternoon.
Junior
Kaelin Ryan and sophomore
Sam Wechsler competed in the final meet before NCAA Championships next week in Geneva, Ohio at the SPIRE Complex.
Wechsler turned in an outstanding showing in the triple jump on Thursday by finishing runner-up behind a career best jump of 11.86 meters. She also finished 17th in the long jump on Wednesday with a mark of 5.20 meters and 15th in the 100 meter hurdle prelims with her time of 15.46.
Ryan qualified for the 100 meter hurdle finals by finishing sixth with his time of 14.78 in the prelims on Wednesday. She finished sixth in the finals as well on Thursday after crossing the line at 14.77.
