COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Track & Field team began competition at the 2025 Centennial Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon at Patterson Field.
The Bears finished the first day in fifth place with 15 points. Johns Hopkins currently paces the field with 27.5 points.
Sophomore
Hannah Quinn turned in a strong showing in the hammer throw with a personal best throw of 42.13 to finish fourth overall. Sophomore
Leah Lewis also competed in the hammer and finished with a mark of 27.68 meters.
Junior
Mia Sideris impressed by finishing sixth in her 10,000 meters debut behind a time of 39:29.55 and senior
Ryann Wauthier round out the top-10 with her time of 41:05.45.
First-year
Mia Bompensa tied for eighth in the pole vault after clearing the bar at 3.00 meters. Junior
Juniper Bauroth-Sherman finished with a mark of 2.70 meters in 16th and first-year
Haley Lenker was 19th with a 2.40 meter vault.
Ursinus returns to day two tomorrow, May 3rd with the first events going off at 10:00 a.m. from Patterson Field.
