COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Junior
Kaelin Ryan was named the Co-Most Outstanding Women's Track Performer of the 2025 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship as the Ursinus Women's Track & Field team completed the meet on Sunday at Patterson Field.
The Bears finished fourth overall in the team standings with 66.5 points which marks another top-five team finish as head coach

Ryan became the first Ursinus Women's Track & Field Athlete to be named the Centennial outdoor most outstanding track athlete of the meet since Christa Johnson in 2009 after securing her first career individual gold medal in the 100-meter hurdles on Sunday. Ryan won the race with a personal best time of 14.52 before earning a second medal during the weekend by taking bronze in the 200 meter dash on a personal best time of 25.91. Ryan also finished fifth with the 4x100 relay team with sophomore
Sam Wechsler plus first-years
Sam Leo and
Emily Barlam. She shared the honor with Dickinson's Erin Olsavsky who won gold in the 200 meters and silver in the 100 meter dash.
Wechsler also notched her first career gold medal by winning the triple jump with a personal best mark of 11.70 meters to defeat Johns Hopkins' Sara Bartlett, who entered as the No. 1 seed for the event. She claimed bronze in the 100-meter hurdles to join Ryan on the podium with a time of 15.41.
Junior
Jaycie Miller finished sixth in the 400 meter finals with a time of 1:01.27 and senior
Meghan Carroll was right behind in seventh at 1:01.67. Juniors
Rhiannon Okuniewski and
Lily Nagy also finished back-to-back in the triple jump as Okuniewski finished 11th with her mark of 10.12 meters and Nagy in 12th at 10.02 meters. Senior
Ryann Wauthier led a trio of Bears in the 5,000 meters on a time of 19:19.46 and junior
Mia Sideris posted a time of 19:52.79 while senior
Candace Hudson crossed the line at 21:06.55. The 4x400 relay team of Ryan, Miller, Carroll, and sophomore
Kira Wise finished fifth with a time of 4:08.34.
Sophomore
Talia Jones was the top finishing Bear in the shot put in 14th with her throw of 10.19 meters. Sophomores
Randi Wood and
Hannah Quinn recorded marks of 9.89 meters and 9.51 meters, respectively, while first-year
Kamarah Jones finished with a throw of 8.91 meters.
The Bears will have a week off before shifting their focus on adding entries to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio from May 22nd to the 24th. Ursinus begins that final push on Monday, May 12th at the Widener Final Qualifier Meet that starts at 1:00 p.m.
