Team of the Week 9/23/25

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus College football sophomore Nick Strusowski added to his weekly accolades after earning a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week, announced by the website on Tuesday morning.
 
 
Strusowski earned one of the two safety spots behind a pair of interceptions to help lead Ursinus to a 35-7 win over Moravian. He had both interceptions in the first half with the first one stopping a Greyhounds drive in the red zone. He added seven tackles (five solo) and one tackle for a loss that tied for the team lead.
 
 
He was named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts and has three interceptions in his last two games in his first season as a full-time starter on the Bears defense.
 
 
This is the first time in his career that Strusowski was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week and he is the first Bear since Connor Carter in Mid-October of last season to land a spot on the weekly team.
 
 
 
The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 27th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools.
