Stauch Joins Gymnastics Staff as Assistant Coach

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Ursinus Gymnastics Head Coach Kim Valenti announced the hiring of Natalie Stauch to be the new Assistant Coach of the Gymnastics program.

"I am thrilled to welcome Natalie officially into the Ursinus Gymnastics family," said Valenti. "This is a full circle moment as I recruited her back in 2020. The team has really taken to her and we have already hit the ground running!"

Stauch is a Fall 2023 graduate of Bowling Green State University and was a member of the Falcons Gymnastics team. She transitioned into various student operations roles within the Bowling Green Athletic Department by serving as a Student Operations Manager to the Volleyball team and worked with the Associate AD for Operations and Championships to help in different capacities with the Soccer, Football, and Softball teams.  Stauch was also a commentator for the Bowling Green Gymnastics home meets during the 2022-2023 season.

"I am excited to be at Ursinus with such a great mentor like Kim, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to coach such an amazing group of ladies!"

Stauch graduated with a degree in Tourism, Hospitality, & Event Management and most recently worked in her field at the Boulder Country Club in Colorado specializing in large, detailed events. She graduated from Jamestown High School (VA) in 2021 and competed for World Class Gymnastics. Stauch was a two-time Eastern National Qualifier and became the 2019 champion on vault, bars, beam, floor and all-around while also winning 2019 state titles on vault and floor.

"I'm excited to see Natalie begin her collegiate career at Ursinus," said George Washington University Assistant Gymnastics Coach Sunny Marchand (former BGSU Assistant Coach). "Her work ethic and leadership will make an immediate impact. She will be a wonderful mentor for the bears."

The Ursinus Gymnastics season will open by hosting Cortland for a dual meet on Sunday, January 11th at 1 p.m.
